On a tragic early summer evening in Denver, Colorado, the life of 28-year-old Blanca Hernandez-Diaz was cut short by an act of violence. On June 1, 2013, in the 4400 block of Mariposa Way, an attempted street robbery turned fatal, leaving a community in mourning and a family shattered.
