In the late summer of 2025, the community of El Dorado, Arkansas, was shaken by the violent death of one of its own. Andre Harper, a 34-year-old male, was fatally shot on the evening of Wednesday, August 20th. The incident that claimed his life unfolded in the 600 block of South Nelson Avenue, a residential area that became the scene of a homicide investigation.
