Christopher Craig Stanford, 42, a male from Ozark, Alabama, was shot and killed on July 20, 2025, in Troy. Officers were first called to the 100 block of New Street around 10:25–10:31 p.m., where the violent chain of events began. Initial reports described multiple crime scenes clustered within minutes of one another that night.
