Andre Lydell Thompson, a 33-year-old man, was killed after an early-morning shooting outside Goldmine Entertainment on U.S. Highway 231 in Troy, Alabama, in the early hours of October 24, 2021. According to police reports carried by local news outlets, officers were called to the nightclub at about 1:37 a.m. on a report of a man shot, but by the time they arrived Thompson had already been rushed to Troy Regional Medical Center in a private vehicle.
