On February 9, 2019, 61-year-old Benjamin Preston Brown of Louisville, Alabama, tragically lost his life in a hunting accident near Troy, Alabama. The incident occurred when Brown was mistakenly shot by another hunter who misidentified him as game. Authorities responded promptly to the scene, but Brown succumbed to his injuries.
