In the late hours of a Saturday night in Troy, Alabama, the community was shaken by an act of violence that claimed the life of Anthony Carl Hodges, a 52-year-old male. On August 14, 2021, at approximately 11:44 p.m., Troy Police Department officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Hubbard Street following a report of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Hodges deceased at the scene, having sustained a fatal gunshot wound.
