Death by Force

In the early hours of August 15, 2020, a tragic shooting occurred at the Pike County Cattleman’s Complex in Troy, Alabama. At approximately 2 a.m., officers were dispatched to assist in dispersing a large crowd gathered in the parking lot of the complex, located in the 12,000 block of U.S. 231 South. As officers were en route, multiple shots were fired, with bystander videos capturing more than 50 shots during the incident.
