Alexander Stevenson, a 31-year-old man from Lanett, Alabama, who was Black/African American, was shot on the night of August 9, 2025, in the 300 block of North 12th Court. Officers arriving around 10:30 p.m. found Alexander Stevenson amid a large crowd with an apparent gunshot wound to the torso.
