Jean Carlos Nieves Rodriguez was a 27-year-old Puerto Rican man when he died on June 12, 2016. Born on March 28, 1989 in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, he later lived in Orlando, Florida. He was publicly identified as a Latino male, aged 27, of Puerto Rican heritage. His life tragically ended during the mass shooting at Pulse nightclub in Orlando, an event widely regarded as the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history at the time.
