On August 23, 2023, 33-year-old white male Brandon Gregory Kormanec, a resident of Sebastian, Florida, was fatally shot at the Rocket Fuel gas station located at 3227 South U.S. Highway 1 in Fort Pierce. The incident occurred around 6:46 p.m., when Fort Pierce Police Department officers responded to reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, they found Brandon Gregory Kormanec suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital, where he later succumbed to his inju ...
