Susie Jackson, a Black African-American female aged 87, lived in Charleston, South Carolina. She passed away on June 17, 2015. A longtime member of the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church, she was deeply embedded in her faith community. The 87-year-old served on the church’s usher board and choir, and actively participated in the Women’s Missionary Society and weekly Bible study sessions.
