Eliseo Garcia, a 41-year-old Hispanic/Latino man, was found dead in his Las Vegas apartment on Sunday morning, November 16, 2008. Police and emergency medical crews were called to the 4700 block of Deckow Lane, near Tropicana Avenue and Koval Lane, around 8:30 a.m., where Garcia was pronounced dead at the scene. The night before, he had been at a party in the same apartment complex and became involved in a confrontation; by the next morning, officers discovered him unresponsive inside his unit.
