In the southern part of Las Vegas, on an April evening in 2016, a verbal dispute escalated into a fatal encounter. Kevin Michael Hockar, a 54-year-old White male, was shot multiple times in the driveway of a home on Aspen Valley Avenue on Saturday, April 23rd. The altercation reportedly began in the street, where a man pushed Hockar to the ground before shooting him with what police described as an "assault-style rifle."
