On a tragic day in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the lives of a family were irrevocably altered. Richard Wilt, a 39-year-old Caucasian male, was killed on November 29, 1988, in a violent outburst that also claimed the lives of his wife, Jeanne Wilt, who was 37, and her 63-year-old father, Joseph Famiglietta. The family operated a local business, a bagel shop, which became the scene of the horrific events that unfolded.
