On July 26, 1985, four-year-old Rory Cordt, a white male child, was found murdered alongside his mother, 28-year-old Ena Cordt, in their home in Forsyth, Missouri. The brutal nature of the crime shocked the small community. Both victims had been beaten to death, and the case remained unsolved for years, leaving the family and town haunted by the tragedy.
