In the summer of 1965, a shadow fell over Tucson, Arizona, with the disappearance of two sisters, 13-year-old Wendy Fritz and her 17-year-old sister Gretchen. The two girls, who were Caucasian, vanished on the evening of August 16, 1965, after heading out to a drive-in movie.
