On December 28, 2011, Jhalon Glass, an 18-year-old from Las Vegas, was shot and killed during an attempted robbery of a pawnshop. Glass entered the pawnshop, likely with the intention to rob, when a confrontation ensued between him and one of the store’s employees. The employee, who was armed, shot Glass, leading to his death on the scene.
