In the early morning hours of December 19, 2015, the life of 38-year-old Jesse Galvez-Valle, a Hispanic male, was tragically cut short in a senseless act of violence in downtown Las Vegas. At approximately 6:50 a.m., as he was walking to an apartment in the 700 block of North 10th Street, near Maryland Parkway and Bonanza Road, a single, loud gunshot echoed through the neighborhood. When police arrived at the scene, they found Galvez-Valle unresponsive.
