In the late hours of August 7, 1987, the life of 25-year-old Jennifer Lisa Smith, a Caucasian female, came to a brutal and tragic end in a parking lot in Oak Grove, Oregon. That night, her screams pierced the quiet, drawing the attention of patrons at a nearby Denny's restaurant. Smith was discovered naked and bleeding, having been stabbed multiple times.
