Janette Becraft, an 85-year-old resident of Portland, Oregon, died on February 8, 2024, due to a gunshot wound. The incident occurred at her home in the Lents neighborhood of Southeast Portland, near Southeast 100th Avenue and Yukon Street.

Police responded to the scene and found Janette Becraft shot dead inside her home. Following a standoff, they arrested her husband, William Albert “Billy Jack” Haynes Jr., a former WWE wrestler. Haynes has been charged with her murder.
