Casey Mahoney, a 27-year-old white woman, was found dead on December 15, 2010, in the Kensington neighborhood of Philadelphia. Her body was discovered in a trash-strewn lot along East Tusculum Street. Authorities determined that she had been strangled, and her death was linked to a series of similar murders in the area.
