Tiffany Bresciani, 22, a White woman, vanished into the predawn streets of Manhattan on June 24, 1993, after getting into a tan Mazda pickup on Allen Street. She was working there with her boyfriend and pimp, punk musician Dave Rubinstein, and she told him she would be back in about 20 minutes. When the minutes stretched into hours and then into the next day, Rubinstein went to the police, giving them what he knew about the truck that had carried her away.
