Bill Fickel, a 46-year-old Caucasian male, was murdered in Oakfield, NY, in November 2005. His case remains unsolved, though authorities have identified a suspect. Investigators believe that Steven Rebert, a former Oakfield resident, may have been involved in the killing. Rebert was convicted in Pennsylvania for the murders of a married couple, Victoria and James Shugar, and has been linked to other unsolved cases, including the murder of Kevin Smith in Orleans County.
