Nine-year-old Hispanic male Joseph Otero Jr. was the youngest of Joseph and Julie Otero’s five children. His father, a Puerto-Rican-born Air Force master sergeant and boxing enthusiast, had moved the family into a modest frame house at 803 North Edgemoor Street in Wichita, Kansas, only a few months before the attack.
