Roberto Alfonso, a male victim, was one of several individuals murdered in a series of killings that took place in Florida in 1986. His death was linked to a string of homicides carried out by Manuel Pardo, Jr., a former police officer, who was convicted of multiple counts of first-degree murder. Pardo admitted to intentionally killing his victims, claiming that they were drug dealers who "had no right to live." His known accomplice, Rolando Garcia, was also implicated in the crimes.
