On January 13, 2025, 19-year-old Zacchaeus Selby-Mukum was fatally shot in the parking lot of an apartment complex located in the 2400 block of Laurelwood Drive in Arlington, Texas. Officers from the Arlington Police Department responded to reports of a shooting at approximately 5:49 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered Selby-Mukum lying unresponsive with an apparent gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
