Larry Mitchell, a 34-year-old man from Mexia, Texas, was found unresponsive in a front yard on the 700 block of East Liberty Street on the morning of January 18, 2025. Mexia police received multiple calls about a shooting starting at 6:31 a.m., but initial reports did not provide a precise location.
