Dequincy Demond Dunn, a 37-year-old African American male, was tragically shot and killed in his home in Mexia, Texas, on March 28, 2017. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, around 5:17 a.m., when the Limestone County Sheriff's Office received a call reporting a shooting at 3477 North FM 39. Upon arrival, deputies found Dunn suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to Parkview Regional Hospital in Mexia, where he was later pronounced dead.
