On September 8, 2022, Todd Brandon Turner, a 47-year-old man from Mexia, Texas, was tragically killed in a shooting incident at a hotel. Turner was found with a gunshot wound at the scene, and the area was quickly secured as a crime scene by the Mexia Police Department. The investigation began immediately, with several individuals identified as having direct knowledge of the incident.
