On January 19, 2025, Bronnie Paul Vaughn, a 55-year-old man, was found dead from gunshot wounds at a residence in Lubbock, Texas. Vaughn had been temporarily staying at the home of Paxton Kubica, a 48-year-old man who was later arrested in connection with the shooting. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, prompting a response from the Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office.
