Robert John Dendy, a 49-year-old man from Lubbock, Texas, was tragically killed on July 6, 2019. Dendy, known for his loving kindness and willingness to help others, was shot and killed while confronting two individuals who were attempting to break into a neighbor's home. His heroic actions were in response to a burglary in progress, and he was fatally shot during the confrontation.
