Damion Jiovanni Garcia, a 17-year-old Hispanic male, tragically lost his life on July 20, 2022, in Lubbock, Texas. The incident occurred during an illegal gun transaction involving stolen firearms. Damion Garcia and 18-year-old Elijah Trevino were both found with gunshot injuries in the 2200 block of East 10th Street.
