Matthew Leigh Hanson, a 37-year-old man, tragically died on February 28, 2019, in Lubbock, Texas. Hanson was killed by his wife, April Elizabeth Hanson, 37, during a domestic dispute at their home in the 700 block of 78th Street. According to police reports, April Hanson shot Matthew Hanson with a handgun, and he was later pronounced dead at University Medical Center.

Following the incident, April Hanson was arrested and taken into custody by the Lubbock Police Department. She was charged ...
