Chance Chavez, a 25-year-old male, tragically died on January 29, 2019, in Lubbock, Texas. He was found shot in the 2600 block of 39th Street. The incident occurred when Chance knocked on the door of Austin Michael Enriquez's home. When Enriquez opened the door, he claimed that Chance pushed his way in with a gun, prompting Enriquez to shoot in self-defense.
