On February 27, 2025, at approximately 12:19 a.m., Prince George County Police responded to a report of a shooting in the 5000 block of Owens Way in Prince George, Virginia. Upon arrival, officers discovered D’Mond Terel Taylor, a 26-year-old African American male from Chesterfield, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to Southside Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased.
