In the early hours of a Tuesday in March 2025, 42-year-old Henry Larvell Jordan, Jr., a Black man, was last seen walking along West Weaver Road in Hampton, Virginia. His disappearance was considered a credible threat to his health and safety, prompting a search. The search came to a grim conclusion the following afternoon when police, responding to a 'man-down complaint,' discovered Mr. Jordan's body behind a residence on the same road where he was last seen.
