In the late afternoon of February 20, 2025, a business owner in the Tacoma Tideflats area grew concerned about a vehicle that had been loitering for an extended period. A call was placed to the authorities at approximately 2:26 p.m., leading to a grim discovery near the 1200 block of St. Paul Avenue that would launch a double homicide investigation. Inside the vehicle, law enforcement found two women who were unresponsive.
