In the summer of 2014, a domestic argument in a Tacoma, Washington apartment escalated into a tragedy that ended the life of 28-year-old Renee Brooks, a Caucasian female. On July 3rd, what began as a verbal dispute between Renee and her 48-year-old husband, Darrin Brooks, turned violent.
