On Halloween night in 1982, 13-year-old Kristi Lynn Vorak, a White female, vanished from her foster home in Tacoma, Washington. Just ten days after her birthday, she was seen for the last time leaving the residence and stepping out into the autumn evening. An unconfirmed sighting later placed her at a bus depot in Seattle, about 30 miles north of Tacoma, but this lead was never verified.
