In the spring of 2025, a life was tragically cut short in Richmond, Virginia. Julius Augustus Young Sr., a 31-year-old Black male, was fatally shot on the evening of April 30th. The incident occurred around 9 p.m. on Magnolia Street, just outside of the Whitcomb Court neighborhood. Young was a father to three young children and was remembered by his community as a loving parent and a friend to many.
