Julius Augustus Young Sr., a 31-year-old father, was tragically shot and killed on April 30, 2025, in Richmond, Virginia. The fatal incident occurred on Magnolia Street, just outside of Whitcomb Court, around 9 p.m. Young was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries. Community members gathered for a vigil to honor his memory, describing him as a loving father and a friend to many. He leaves behind three young children.
