In the early afternoon of Saturday, January 4, 2025, the life of 36-year-old Dominique Rakil Edwards, a male resident of Sumter, South Carolina, was tragically cut short. Gunfire erupted in the area of Curtis Drive and Mooneyham Road, and when Sumter County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to the reports, they found Edwards injured in the 300 block of Enter Street. He had sustained at least one apparent gunshot wound and, despite any aid rendered at the scene, succumbed to his injuries there. ...
