On a Tuesday evening in Jackson, Tennessee, the life of 32-year-old Andretti Lebronski Siddell came to a violent and abrupt end inside a Slim Chickens restaurant on January 21, 2025. The incident, which unfolded around 6:30 p.m. at the Channing Way location, began when Siddell and a group of other individuals entered the restaurant's kitchen area and began to physically assault an employee.
The employee, identified as 22-year-old Harrison Cobb, retrieved a handgun during the assault and
opened fire on the group. Siddell was struck by the gunfire, sustaining injuries that rendered him immobile on the floor. According to police reports, after a few moments had passed, Cobb continued to fire shots at Siddell, although he was no longer a physical threat and was unarmed. First responders attempted life-saving measures, but Siddell succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Two other people from Siddell's group sustained non-life-threatening injuries during the altercation. The entire event was captured on video surveillance, which is now being used as evidence in the investigation.
Harrison Cobb was immediately taken into custody at the scene. He has been charged with first-degree murder in connection with the death of Andretti Siddell. Following his arrest, Cobb was scheduled for a formal arraignment in Jackson City Court. Investigators have not released any details regarding the motive for the initial assault on Cobb. The investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
Andretti Siddell was born on December 30, 1992, to Gladys Marie Walker and James Siddell, Sr. He was a 2012 graduate of Humboldt High School and worked at Tyson Foods in Humboldt, Tennessee. He is survived by his parents, several siblings, and a bonus daughter.
