Taronn Pate, a 23-year-old man, was tragically killed in a shooting in Dayton, Ohio, on New Year's Day, January 1, 2025. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, around 3:21 a.m., on Dennison Avenue. Authorities responded to reports of gunfire and discovered a vehicle with flashing lights, inside which Pate and another victim, 22-year-old Toni Owensby, were found. A witness who was driving through the area reported seeing the car and immediately fled, fearing for his safety.
