Amadou Diallo, 22, male, was shot just after midnight on June 23, 2025, outside the Speedway gas station at 121 East Stewart Street, a short walk from the University of Dayton campus. A 911 caller reported hearing five or six gunshots in quick succession, drawing officers to the scene around 12:09 a.m. Responding Dayton police found Diallo critically wounded. He was rushed to Miami Valley Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, the coroner’s office said.
