On June 8, 2024, 32-year-old Ronald James "Booda" Downs Jr. was fatally shot during an altercation at a Marathon gas station in Harrison Township, Ohio. The incident occurred around 1:13 a.m. in the 3900 block of North Main Street, where a dispute between two groups escalated into gunfire. Downs sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to Miami Valley Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
