Shamari Parker, a 20-year-old Black male and leukemia survivor, was tragically shot and killed on January 7, 2025, in Washington, North Carolina. Parker, who was in his final semester at East Carolina University studying construction management, was found dead inside his vehicle following an apparent attempted robbery. Authorities responded to reports of a vehicle collision at an intersection in Beaufort County, where they discovered Parker suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead ...
