On the evening of February 2, 2025, 19-year-old African American male Nikkelo LaCharles Jones was fatally shot in Memphis, Tennessee. The incident occurred just before 10:00 p.m. on Lapaloma Street in the Castalia Heights neighborhood. Memphis Police Department officers responded to the scene and found Nikkelo deceased upon arrival. At the time, no suspect information was available, and the investigation was ongoing.
