In the winter of 2025, in a home on Veterans Drive in Dunmore, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Scranton, 36-year-old Nicole Vega was found dead. A graduate of Scranton High School, she was known for her caring nature and was a devoted mother to her three young daughters. Her life was cut short by a single gunshot wound to the head, a death that authorities would quickly rule a homicide.
