Mario Vargas, a 40-year-old male, was fatally shot on May 2, 2025, in Houston, Texas. The incident occurred at approximately 11 p.m. at 1446 Sherwood Forest Drive. Houston Police Department officers responded to reports of a shooting and discovered Vargas lying in the parking lot with a gunshot wound. Despite efforts from Houston Fire Department paramedics, Vargas was pronounced dead at the scene.
