In the winter of 2025, the life of 57-year-old Candy J. Gibson was tragically cut short in her Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, home. On the evening of January 11th, a bullet pierced through the walls of her Hummel Street residence, striking her in the chest and ending her life. The incident was part of a string of violence that marked a grim start to the new year in the city, which saw three homicides in the span of just four days.
